Off-road and Adventure in Transilvania – 3 days

We meet in the morning in the established location in Bucharest or at Henri Condă airport where we board jeeps and leave for Prahova Valley to the foot of the Bucegi Mountains. Here begins the off-road adventure heading to Lake Bolboci, nicknamed "The Sea of ​​Bucegi", one of the most beautiful and wild places in the country. We will cross the spectacular plateau of the Bugeci Mountains located at 2000 m altitude and depending on the time left, we have the option of a short hike to the Coltii Chiliilor Hermitage wherein a high rock, there is a cave where there is an ancient church, where the great clergyman Ioanichie Moroi from Sihastria, close to Father Cleopa, prayed for a while. In the evening we will enjoy a meal with traditional dishes and a fairytale ambiance at the Taverna Pietrei Craiului in the magical ambiance of the fireplace. Optional horse riding can be arranged.

We are preparing for a day full of off-road adventures. We will have a spectacular route "in the footsteps of wolves" in virgin forests through the wilderness of the mountain, with amazing views over the Piatra Craiului Mountains, Iezer-Papușa. The incredible beauty of the landscape in these mountains is a real source of inspiration. In the afternoon we have the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional picnic in the middle of a beautiful picnic, with dishes served in a cauldron or on the porch enjoying an exceptional view. We will have the opportunity, depending on the time, to admire the dream landscape of the peaks of the traditional village Poiana Mărului. We will spend the evening at Taverna Piatra Craiului in an atmosphere of rest. Optional campfire and/or live guitar music can be arranged.

After breakfast, we leave Poiana Marului and drive for about 2 hours to Buzau Customs where we explore a clean, quiet area with enchanting landscapes along the Dalghiu River. We visit a wonder of nature, Urlatoarele Waterfall where we will take a break to admire the curtain of water that constantly flows from the reddish stone and calcareous texture. From here, we continue the 4×4 off-road experience and climb to the spectacular area of ​​the Tabla Butii Pass, a centuries-old road that connects Muntenia and Transylvania. The route continues next to the Cemetery of the Heroes who fell in the First World War and through the ruins of the Cruceberg fortress, built in the medieval era by the Teutonic Knights. Arriving at the ridge of the mountain, from 1,400 meters altitude, we admire wonderful landscapes that unfold before our eyes and in the distance, we can see the Ciucaș Mountains. Next, we stop at an authentic sheepfold and we had a coffee break in the middle of nature. Optionally, we had the opportunity to enjoy a picnic in nature, in a place with fairytale views of the mountain tops.
