4×4 Trip and Fun in Barsa Country – 2 days

We meet in the morning, at 7.30 in the place individually set for each departure, which can be, for example, a subway station or gas station. After boarding a Nissan Patrol ready for off-road, we start this 4×4 trip driving on DN 1 to Predeal. In almost 3 hours we reach the foot of the Bucegi Mountains and start the climb on winding mountain roads with amazingly, beautiful panoramic views. We will take a break to admire the magnificent view of the mountain ridges while enjoying a cup of coffee. We continue to explore the spectacular landscape of the Bucegi Mountains and then descend to Rasnov. The next destination is Poiana Marului, a village known for preserving ancient traditions and for its natural beauty. After enjoying a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant, we will explore the off-road Poiana Marului area, on picturesque hills, guarded by the lofty ridges of Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. Away from the hustle and bustle of the world and closer to the sky, you feel the peace and calm around you. You fully enjoy the greenery, the fresh air, the mountain landscape, and the freedom to be in the middle of nature. We will stay at a boarding house torn from the world, in the middle of nature, with a fair view of the mountain tops. Accommodation at 4 * guest house in Poiana Marului.

After breakfast, we leave Poiana Marului, driving about 15 minutes to Zărnești. Optionally, we enjoy a short walk through the Zărneşti Canyon, the fresh mountain air, and the enchanting landscape of the movie "Cold Mountain". We continue this 4×4 trip leading to the tops of the hills of the traditional villages Magura and Pestera. Let your eyes rest in the fascinating landscapes of the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains. Here, you will discover the authentic rural life in Romania, a fairytale land with cobbled roads, traditional wooden houses, haystacks, and thrifty people. The landscape is like a fairytale and you will want to return to this corner of heaven. Then, you will have the opportunity to visit the Bran Monastery, also known as the Simon Hermitage, located in a very picturesque area. This 4×4 trip continues through the magical landscapes of the Rucar - Bran corridor and we will reach the highest traditional village in Romania, Fundatica with an altitude of 1360 m. We explore the beauty of the ‘Valea Cheii’ Canyon, where we will stop for a cup of coffee by the river and enjoy the natural sounds around us. For a portion of adrenaline, before leaving the Canyon, you can optionally follow the zip line route within Tree Adventure Park, which is also the longest in the Rucăr-Bran area, 200 meters. Charged with positive energy and beautiful memories, we return to Bucharest, around 20.00. Thank you for allowing us to be a guide on roads forgotten by the world!
