4×4 Adventure and camping in the wild – 2 days

We leave Bucharest in the morning, at 7.30 am, and drive for about 2 hours, north to Slon to reach the foot of the Tatar Mountains. From here, we start the 4×4 adventure and climb to the spectacular area of ​​the Tabla Butii Pass, a centuries-old road that connects Muntenia and Transylvania. Arriving at the ridge of the mountain, from 1,400 meters altitude, we admire wonderful landscapes that unfold before our eyes and in the distance, we can see the Ciucaș Mountains. Next, we will visit an authentic sheepfold and have a coffee break in the middle of nature. Optionally, we had the opportunity to enjoy a picnic in nature, in a place with fairytale views of the mountain tops. The route continues next to the Cemetery of the Heroes who fell in the First World War and through the ruins of the Cruceberg fortress, built in the medieval era by the Teutonic Knights. Going down the mountains, we reach the Buzău river valley where you will discover a clean, quiet area, with enchanting landscapes. Here, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, we will camp in a beautiful place by the river. In the evening we will enjoy the magic of the campfire, tasting a glass of wine with dinner on the grass.

After breakfast, we camp and set off on roads that will take us to a spectacular landscape in the Bucegi Mountains. We start the climb on winding mountain roads with amazingly beautiful panoramic views. We will take a break to admire the magnificent view of the mountain ridges while enjoying a cup of coffee. We continue the 4×4 adventure leading on the tops of the hills of the traditional villages Magura and Pestera, while you will be overwhelmed by the fascinating landscape of the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains. here, you will find a fairytale land with cobbled roads, traditional wooden houses, haystacks, and thrifty people. This 4×4 adventure continues through the Rucar - Bran corridor and we reach the highest traditional village in Romania, Fundatica with an altitude of 1360 m. We explore the beauty of the 'Valea Cheii' Canyon, where we stop for a cup of coffee, near the river and we enjoy the sounds of nature around us. For a portion of adrenaline, before leaving the canyon, optionally, you can follow the zip line route within the Tree Adventure Park which is the longest in the Rucăr-Bran area, 200 meters. Charged with positive energy and beautiful memories, we return to Bucharest.
