Day 1 Bucharest – Bucegi Plateau – Peles Castle – Plaiul Foii

Lacul BolbociWe pick you up early in the morning from your location in Bucharest or from the Otopeni Henry Coanda International Airport. After crossing Prahova Valley we begin the adventure with off-road tour on Bucegi Plateau, visiting Bolboci lake – dubbed “The Sea of Bucegi “, the lake is among the most spectacular natural attractions in the area of Bucegi Mountains, located at the highest altitude in the country, 1438 meters. Lunch time will be provided at a special restaurant in Sinaia. After lunch, we will visit Peles Castle, a summer residence for Romanian royal family, is considered by many one of the most beautiful castles in all Europe. Welcome traditional dinner and accommodation in Plaiul Foii. Spend the night in a special 3* lodge/hotel in Plaiul Foii


Day 2 Plaiul Foii – Diham Cottage – Rentea Mountains – Brasov – Plaiul Foii

_MG_1775R1200_OfAfter breakfast, you will start driving towards Diham Cottage with stunning views over Bucegi Mountains. You will continue the off-road adventure tour in Rentea – Baiului Mountains giving us the chance for breathtaking landscapes. Then you will visit the beautiful city of Brașov (Kronstandt, under its German name) founded by the Saxons in the XIIIth century. Here you will see the Council Square, the Council Tower, the famous Black Church (the largest Gothic construction in Eastern part of Europe) and enjoy a short walking tour in the Old Town of Brașov. You will have dinner at a cozy restaurant in Brașov before we head to overnight rest in the Plaiul Foii area.

Day 3 Plaiul Foii – Pestera – Magura – Bran(Dracula`s) Castle – Simon Hermitage – Plaiul Foii

Then, we will continue the off-road tour to the traditional villages of Magura and Pestera, with some of the best breathtaking views in Romania.The stunning views of Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains and the “spread” traditional villages stay with us along our journey. You will have the opportunity to visit Bran Castle that is considered to be among the 10 most beautiful medieval castles in the world. Lunch at a special location Amfiteatru Transilvania where you can discover spectacular views, remote traditions, animal farm, traditional local food and drinks, living water spring and souvenirs.The next destination en route is the Simon Hermitage located in beautiful surroundings. Accommodation in Plaiul Foii. 


Day 4  Plaiul Foii – Racos – Sighisoara – Bazna

Get ready for a day of exploration the selenar landscapes from Racos Volcanic crater. From here we get another 4×4 trip through the remote saxon villages Viscri, where Prince Charles have properties. Then, you will visit medieval city of Sighisoara – the only medieval citadel in the world that is still populated, included in the UNESCO world heritage. You will end the day with a special experience of relaxation in Bazna, a health resort with wells of mineral waters. Here, you will have dinner and accommodation.


Day 5 Bazna – Medias – Mosna – Transfagarasean Route – Bucharest 

transfagarasan routeAfter breakfast, you will continue the off-road journey through the fascinating landscape of the Transylvanian plateau. Sit back and admire the amazing scenery of the Transfagarasan Route, second-highest paved road in Romania, crossing the fantastic Fagaras Mountains as you journey back to Bucharest. Lunch time will be provided at a restaurant en route. Time permitting, you will be able to visit Bucharest and souvenir shopping before a transfer back to the airport. If Transfagarasan Road is closed, due to the weather conditions, you will head to Bucharest by crossing Olt Valley.
